AI speed. Engineering quality. Auditable governance.

Enterprise-grade software, from briefing to release. Governance is built alongside the SDLC — never bolted on at the end.

The generative AI paradox

AI changed how software is built. Not who is responsible for it.

Code is now generated in seconds. Architectures emerge from prompts. Technical decisions emerge from statistical models. Ungoverned AI generates velocity at the cost of architecture, traceability, and accountability.

Visible gains

  • Implementation speed
  • Democratization of development
  • Productivity on repetitive tasks

Blind spots

  • Fragmented tooling and Shadow AI
  • Speed asymmetry across SDLC stages
  • Hidden human/AI boundary, untraceable decisions
Speed without governance isn't productivity, it's compounding risk.
Platform

The six pillars of the governed SDLC.

A platform that implements governed AI software development end-to-end, turning software demands into a governed, traceable, AI-executable process.

Context Orchestration & AI FinOps

A central bus for LLMs that eliminates tool fragmentation, mitigates Shadow AI, and confines context to project boundaries — blocking token waste and enforcing financial governance.

Eliminates Shadow AI

Requirements Engineering (Spec-Driven)

Business intentions become structured specifications through an AI-accelerated pipeline. Every rule is reviewed item by item, with approval workflows preserving a clear chain of custody.

Declared, not inferred

Contract-Based Architectural Compliance

No code is generated without prior architectural definition. Approved stacks, validated libraries, and design patterns are enforced as a Quality Gate; violations are rejected at the source.

Pre-defined, mandatory

Absolute Code Provenance Control

An AI BOM is generated per increment. Every component is linked to its functional requirement, architectural constraint, and the human developer who approved it. No orphan code.

No orphan code

Impact & Sync Management

Any functional or technical change triggers a three-dimensional impact analysis across business, architecture, and source code — keeping concurrent users aligned and free of fragmentation.

3D impact analysis

Continuous Auditing & Explainability

Every technical decision and human–AI interaction is written to immutable, timestamped append-only logs. Native compliance with modern AI governance frameworks, without slowing delivery.

Append-only · immutable

From business intent to the approved code, every decision is governed, explainable, and auditable.

Founder thesis

Why this platform exists.

The expandev founding team

Every team we talk to has already felt it: AI writes code faster than anyone can govern it. Architectures appear without decisions. Business rules get inferred instead of declared. And when something breaks in production, no one can say who, or what, is responsible.

We built expandev because speed was never the hard part. Accountability is. The platform exists to make sure that when AI is in the loop, a human still owns the architecture, the rules, and the consequences.
